This ball joint long travel 2wd suspension kit provides superior strength and offers numerous options to customize your rig. This package includes everything you will need to install the lift kit. With a exclusive bolt on strut frame that includes mounting hardware and skid plate tabs. The design provides the most ground clearance on the market with the added strength to the front frame section. There is drilling required to install. The 4130 cro-moly 3" extended upper and lower control arms bolt to the factory mounting locations and allow easy alignment. The vehicle track width will be increased by 6", and fiberglass fenders must be installed. Total Chaos designed this kit to re-use the factory upper and lower ball joints and will give you 11" of wheel travel. If you have a 84-88 truck you must upgrade to 89-95 lower ball joints. The boxed lower control arms feature internal gussets to help reinforce the optional single 2.5" or dual 2.0" lower shock tabs. 8" or 10" travel shocks are recommend to be installed. A coil over conversion is a option but you must fabricate a upper shock mount. We highly recommend that you install the billet cross shafts with this 2wd long travel kit and the heim joint tie rod kit is a good idea also. 84-88 trucks require the installation of a 2"-3" body lift to clear a 31" tire.
